Aimtec has been a partner of SAP Czech Republic since 2005, from which time it has also been developing professional SAP ERP templates for manufacturing and logistics companies. Jan Kratochvil will lead a team of more than twenty developers and consultants from 1 July 2019. He is taking over from Halka Kračmerová, who decided to leave the company management and spend more time on other activities. Jaroslav Follprecht, CEO of the company, commented on the change: “We have succeeded tremendously in developing our solutions under Halka’s leadership, demonstrating to corporate customers that software from Pilsen is able to compete with large global players. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for all of the hard work. We understand why she chose to pass the leadership role on, but we’re happy that she's going to stay for the consultation services and process analysis, which she specializes in.“
Jan Kratochvil joined Aimtec in 2007 as an MM/WM consultant, later was part of the team behind the SappyWMS product, a special solution for complete material flow management. Until now, he has worked as a project manager. In addition to leading the division, challenges associated with the new SAP and Aimtec strategies await him in his new position. “We are ready for the transition to S/4HANA, working on scenarios for ensuring a smooth process at our customers. At the same time, we’re preparing new Sappy products for S/4 and, of course, we’re also thinking about cloud services. I believe that with such an experienced and professional team we’ll continue to be able to offer quality and modern solutions for our customers’ business”, he added on the current course of the division.
In relation to the announced new generation of SAP ERP, the company pays attention to transition scenarios as well as to preparations for completely new implementations of SAP S/4HANA. It is also developing new products for keeping pace with the advancing automation and Industry 4.0 trend. Company's experience confirms, that digitization is not a rapid change, but a gradual introduction of new technologies that must be able to communicate with the legacy systems. Currently, Aimtec has started its first ever SAP S/4 HANA implementation with the SappyCar industry template designed for automotive suppliers.

Jan Kratochvil studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Since the beginning of his career, he has devoted himself to SAP, first in a manufacturing company as a key user and master data specialist and later in Aimtec, where he has been working as a consultant for MM and WM modules since 2007. He was also part of the SappyWMS project from its inception. As a project manager, he was responsible for implementations for Czech and international companies, such as Alfmeier, Eissmann Automotive, EFAFLEX and DAIHO. He will be the Director of SAP division from 1 July 2019. He speaks English and devotes his free time to family and motorcycle travel.
