1200x627 SAPE CaseStudy

SAPE BOHEMIA was founded in 2000. Its logistics warehouse in Mladá Boleslav was built in 2007. Four years later, the company won a bidding process to become the central external logistics provider (CEDL) for Škoda Auto. It now supplies the automaker’s production lines in Just in Sequence (JIS) mode. In 2012, Aimtec deployed EDI and the WMS and JIT/JIS systems within Aimtec DCIx at this company. The project included hardware deliveries.

  • A fully automated sequencing process at 15 different work centres.
  • A guaranteed error-free sequencing process.
  • A reduction to manual labour.
  • Detailed traceability for every component picked.
  • A comprehensive solution – JIS and WMS systems in a single application.
