Škoda Transportation and its subsidiary are specialists in transportation engineering. This Pilsen-based company’s key products include low-floor trams, electric locomotives, metro trains and suburban train units. In 2011 it launched a project for collecting data from assembly work centres with the help of a DCIx MES product supplied by Aimtec. This was later expanded. In 2014 a WMS solution that also works with Kardex vertical lift modules was deployed.
