Zebra Technologies Recognises Aimtec for Supporting Front-Line Workers

  • 6/10/2021

Zebra Technologies has awarded Aimtec with a $5,000 charitable donation, which will be contributed to an Alzheimer’s endowment. In celebration of its thirtieth anniversary as a public company and the fifth anniversary of the award-winning Zebra® PartnerConnect program, Zebra invited its members to share their stories about how they are supporting front-line heroes. Aimtec was one of the six winners selected by a panel of judges this month.

“In CSR, long-term cooperation is vital for us. We want the non-profits we support to be able to rely on us and have the space to really build up something together,” says Roman Žák from Aimtec. “That is why we decided to send the donation to an Alzheimer endowment that, besides its own research, draws attention to problems associated with Alzheimer’s disease, such as the lack of doctors, nurses and social workers.”

Aimtec has supported frontline workers twice. In June 2020, the company donated to the University Hospital in Pilsen, giving them two sonographs important for the diagnosis and care of patients with the most severe cases of COVID-19 infection, who are hospitalised in the intensive care unit. The next donation in October 2020 helped them audit the medical technology used for the hospitalisation of COVID-19 patients.

“We are proud to recognize Aimtec for its commitment to empowering front-line workers with technology to help them deliver a performance edge,” said Rob Armstrong, Senior Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing and Channels for Zebra Technologies. “We also thank all those on the front line who are working hard to keep us healthy and secure.”
