Over its 70-year history, Antolin has transformed from a family-run workshop into a giant with a worldwide presence. Today Antolin is a leader in the development, design, and production of interior parts for the automotive industry. As part of its manufacturing strategy, Antolin turned to Aimtec to supply and deploy the Asprova APS advanced production planning system at four of its European factories.
Aimtec’s first Asprova APS deployment for Antolin was at its Libáň plant in the Czech Republic, which was soon followed by its Bratislava plant in Slovakia. The deployment in Slovakia opened the door for the roll-out of this solution at other manufacturing locations in the Antolin group: Antolin Silesia in Strzelin, Poland; Grupo Antolin Lusitania in Portugal; and Antolin Interiors in Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire. The following processes take place at these factories: assembly processes, injection moulding, sun visor assembly, window regulator assembly processes related to pre-production, work queue management for each machine, and other pre-production processes.
