MALFINI, based in the Czech city of Ústí nad Labem, is a Central European leader on the advertising textiles market and a leading supplier in more than 35 European countries. At its logistics and distribution centre in Ostrava-Kunčičky, the digitalisation platform Aimtec DCIx orchestrates end-to-end operations – from receipt of goods to dispatch.
In 2010, Aimtec introduced a WMS for warehouse management and logistics – Aimtec DCIx. This delivery also included supplementation of the existing hardware from Zebra Technologies. In the second phase, the warehouse system was integrated into the Karat enterprise information system. In the third phase, the WMS was connected to some of the latest technologies – Kardex automatic warehouse systems, Pick by Light technology and a connection to a roller conveyor.
In 2023, MALFINI invested in AutoStore technology, which is controlled by Aimtec DCIx. The system sends requests for put-away of goods and removal from storage and keeps stock status at the item and quantity level. In 2025, three HaiPick autonomous robots controlled by Aimtec DCIx were installed. Besides managing the robots, the system also coordinates the movements of crates along conveyors.
