Aimtec is celebrating 25 years on the market

  • 23/7/2021

25 years have gone by since Aimtec’s founding.

It celebrated its tenth birthday on a train, its fifteenth in a tram and its twentieth in the style of the 1920s. But for its latest birthday, Aimtec is travelling a different path. For each year that this company – founded in 1996 by Jaroslav Follprecht and Roman Žák – has been in business, it is preparing to help in a place where it’s needed the most.

25 Years, 25 Projects

So these celebrations of twenty-five years will include twenty-five charity projects, fundraisers and events that will help out in several areas of society. What precisely has been lined up? The anniversary-event portfolio includes for example a charity fashion shop, a Programming for Girls course, tree-planting and several charity runs.

Aimtec People Helping People

All the company’s employees have a chance to take an active part in these celebrations via volunteer work, which is one of the main ideas behind the concept for this aid-filled anniversary. Some of the projects Aimtec is supporting were born directly from employee voting. Everyone at Aimtec also has a half-day off for participation in these charity projects connected to the company’s twenty-fifth anniversary. Meanwhile, 100% donation matching for charity donations is among the benefits that Aimtec permanently offers its employees.

An official celebration of the company’s birthday for both its employees and its partners and friends will be held in September at the Pilsner Urquell Brewery.

A Year Full of Celebrations – and Distinctions

Aimtec has also earned two awards that are boosting this year full of celebrations. Besides an award won in the Office of the Year competition, the company’s founders Jaroslav Follprecht and Roman Žák obtained awards as well. They received this recognition from the jury of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition for having built up a successful company with global reach over the last 25 years and having taken a unique approach to developing and deploying software solutions.
