Full Digitalisation of Production and Logistics

The AISIN EUROPE MANUFACTURING CZECH plant in Písek is part of a multinational group of companies; it has been in operation for 23 years. As a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier, the plant provides components for combustion engines, as well as for hybrid and electric drive units to a car manufacturer around the world, including Toyota, Renault, Volvo, and Nissan. The company is currently working on several projects for the planned launch of series production of complete e-Axle electric drive units in 2027.

AISIN is reacting to dynamic growth in production and the high demands of the automotive environment with the full digitalisation and automation of key processes. Aimtec has been supporting the company on its journey of digital transformation for many years.

The successful migration to the modern SAP S/4HANA ERP system provided a stable and powerful platform for further digitalisation steps. This was followed by the introduction of the MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) system, which brought fundamental changes to the existing production management system, thereby increasing the efficiency of the processes in place. The Aimtec SCIx solution connects production lines and workplaces in real time to the SAP system. Terminals collect data on production, quality, packaging, and shipping. Zebra Technologies scanners support fast, error-free shipping.
