AISIN: Full Digitalisation of Production and Logistics

The AISIN Europe Manufacturing Czech plant in Písek is part of a multinational group of companies; it has been in operation for 23 years. This company is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier to global car manufacturers such as Toyota, Renault, Volvo and Nissan. It currently has around 700 employees and is planning significant expansion linked to a new production hall; it intends to add hundreds of workers over the next five years. AISIN supplies car manufacturers with components for combustion engines, as well as for hybrid and electric drive units. Several projects are underway to prepare for the series production of complete e-axle electric drive units, which is planned to start in 2027.

AISIN is reacting to dynamic growth in production and the high demands of the automotive environment with the full digitalisation and automation of key processes. Aimtec has been supporting the company on its journey of digital transformation for many years.

  • Successfull migration to the modern SAP S/4HANA ERP – gaining a stable and powerful platform for further digitalisation steps.
  • The subsequent implementation of a MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) system has significantly increased production efficiency.
  • Thanks to the Aimtec SCIx solution, production lines and work centres are connected in real time with the SAP system, where terminals handle the collection of data on production, quality, packaging and shipping.
  • Fast, error-free dispatch thanks to process automation and the use of scanners from Zebra Technologies.
  • Thanks to the integration of SAP with the Telit IoT platform, complete traceability is ensured.
