Faster service and a wider range of materials thanks to central warehouse automation

DŘEVO TRUST is a Czech wholesaler of materials for joiners with over twenty years of experience. It is the supplier with the largest network of shops in its field in the Czech Republic. Its automation project with Aimtec was first implemented in its new hall in Lipník nad Bečvou, where the section for the storage of panel materials was built as a fully automated facility. Aimtec then continued the successful automation project in the central hardware and mouldings warehouse in Sedliště.

The Aimtec DCIx digitalisation platform handles warehouse logistics from start to finish and manages all of a site’s automation technologies – Kardex vertical storage system, STILL VNA truck in semi-automatic mode, Körber AG automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) and TGW Logistics Group conveyors for the transport of goods. The project also includes mobile terminals, scanners, a tablet for VNA truck, and industrial label printers from Zebra Technologies.
