Škoda Auto Is Digitalising Assembly Process Management with Aimtec DCIx

Škoda Auto uses the Aimtec DCIx platform to control electric tightening tools on the Octavia, Enyaq and Elroq assembly lines in Mladá Boleslav. It also supports the Octavia, Karoq, Kodiaq, Cupra and Ateca lines in Kvasiny. This solution makes operators’ work significantly easier and faster thanks to features that actively support them in their day-to-day work. This platform is gradually being rolled out to further work centres. Aimtec was able to meet the high demands placed on critical manufacturing processes, with an emphasis on the system’s stability and sustainability, while also delivering a solution that is prepared for future changes.

The results of #AimtecHackathon 2025: Its best projects will help children with autism and doctors

 #AimtecHackathon 2025 has once again made it clear that programmers can lend a helping hand just like doctors and physiotherapists. That’s because the goal of year nine of this event, which has grown into a tradition, was not mere technical innovations, but rather projects that help real people deal with handicaps. This year’s event brought together 60 participants, as well as 13 technological challenges assigned by nonprofits and individuals. Transparent and efficient SAP processes: Aimtec optimizes warehouse management at ZELTWANGER company

The digitalisation specialist Aimtec is ensuring efficiency and transparency for warehouse management processes at ZELTWANGER’s plant in Tübingen, Germany. Thanks to the deployment of Aimtec SCIx, an extension solution within SAP, this medium-sized company was able to achieve maximum transparency for its warehouse stocks and digitalise work processes to the fullest. This has improved the utilisation of warehouse capacities and minimised the error rate. The result is more efficient production throughput and time savings of up to 60%.
