By integrating with SAP S/4HANA®, Aimtec delivers SAP solution-based functionality on shop floor to customers.

Over 70 hackers, 12 teams and precisely 40 hours of programming. All with a single goal – helping people with disabilities who brought the event with a whole list of problems they must face every day. That was #AimtecHackathon 2023 in a nutshell. Subtitled “When Code Helps,” it was held on 3–5 March at Pilsen’s Moving Station. What projects were born in these brief hours? And did they fulfil their tasks?

The software solution provider Aimtec is transforming its corporate structure. Its two subsidiaries, Aimtec Consulting and Aimtec Outsourcing, are returning to the fold of their parent company, Aimtec. For the two merged companies’ customers and partners in business, nothing is changing; all obligations, rights and responsibilities are passing to the overarching entity, Aimtec a.s. The reason for this merger is increased efficiency for internal processes and administration.

Continental Automotive is an interior-electronics supplier for major global automakers. Its deployment of the world’s most advanced warehouse system, AutoStore, at its Brandýs nad Labem plant is the first such deployment in the Czech Republic. It installed this system at its plant in record time, and trial operation officially began on 19 April 2022. Aimtec’s DCIx platform is also helping to increase this plant’s digitalisation; it connects several systems simultaneously throughout the plant. 

Children’s homes, doctor training and sport clubs, as well as support for seniors and planting trees. Aimtec has aid in its DNA, so it was only natural for it to approach its 25th year a bit untraditionally. Its employees chose 25 charity projects where they wanted to help – one for each year that Aimtec has been around. Every employee could contribute through either volunteer work, donations or their experience and skills. Read all about the projects that captured our hearts.

Zebra Technologies has awarded Aimtec with a $5,000 charitable donation, which will be contributed to an Alzheimer’s endowment. In celebration of its thirtieth anniversary as a public company and the fifth anniversary of the award-winning Zebra® PartnerConnect program, Zebra invited its members to share their stories about how they are supporting front-line heroes. Aimtec was one of the six winners selected by a panel of judges this month.
