Trends in Automotive Logistics takes you behind the scenes of a digital factory

  • 12/4/2023

Europe’s automotive experts will be coming to the Trends in Automotive Logistics (TAL) conference in Pilsen on 16 May to discuss the trends shaping this sector. TAL is organised by Aimtec in cooperation with IHK Regensburg and the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce. This year’s 22nd edition will help participants to see what’s “Behind the Scenes at a Digital Factory.”

Supply chains in automotive are going through a trial by fire. Resilience and quick responses to changes have become fundamental competitive advantages. The players who have gained a lead from digitalisation are doing considerably better. What’s hidden backstage at a successful digital factory? At the next TAL conference, our guest speakers will be openly sharing the field’s best practices – and the things case studies won’t tell you.

Roman Žák, co-founder of Aimtec, the company organising this conference, notes some highlights in the programme for 2023. “We’re delighted that our speakers will include people like David Strnad – Head of Škoda Auto’s Brand Logistics – and Robert Cameron, who leads the logistics department of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Our invitation has also been accepted by major names like Tom Bianculli, the CTO of Zebra Technologies, and Klaus Straub, who gained his rich experience in a variety of roles, such as CIO and Senior Vice President of Group IT at BMW Group.”

TAL will show the future of the supply chain, the specifics of logistics in the era of e-mobility, the latest techs and more. It will offer case studies for automation and the digital transformation and open the topic of sustainability inside and outside logistics.

Besides the presentations, attendees will be able to mingle with conference partners all day within the side programme and speak informally with colleagues during an evening social event. The unique artist Petr Jan Juračka will guide attendees through nature photographs in his talk. James Harries will be playing during the evening networking.

Come to TAL 2023, get a unique look at successful projects from the European automotive sector and meet your colleagues from the industry.

The TAL conference (Trends in Automotive Logistics) joins inspiring speakers from the practical and academic spheres with experts in manufacturing, logistics and IT. It’s a space for discussing the latest topics in logistics, manufacturing, integration and more – and a presentation point for new technologies, methods and resources from the world of digitalisation.
